Skill Development Training Projects in iacptskills
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training in iacptskills that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Assam Skill Development Mission
Assam Skill Development Mission was set up under the aegis of Skill Employment and Entrepreneurship Department. The vision of the mission is capacity building of the unemployed youth and to deliver quality skill training leading to meaningful employment.
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is the skill and placement initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India (MoRD). It evolved out of the need to diversify incomes of the rural poor and to cater to the occupational aspirations of their youth. DDU-GKY aims to skill rural youth who are poor and provide them with jobs having regular monthly wages at or above the minimum wages. It is one of the clusters of initiatives of MoRD that seeks to promote rural livelihoods.
National Urban Livelihoods Mission
A State Level Committee (Governing Council and Executive Committee) was notified by the Government of Assam in 2014 and the Assam State Urban Livelihoods Mission Society (ASULMS) has been established to implement DAY-NULM in Assam. The Assam State Urban Livelihoods Mission Society (ASULMS) is a registered body and the Rules & Regulations have been formulated.
